Yahoo! loves me, but not so much does Google

I didn’t expect that my blog would be actually getting, well, a huge amount of traffic in a span of time. After all, I have not been into blogging much as I did before. It’s all thanks to my hospital training. But now the training is officially over, I’ve somewhat lost the momentum to blog. Oh I guess I am just plain lazy. However, though lazy, I try to publish ten to fifteen posts a month. Ha! What an achievement! And please don’t go over into my archives or you’ll see how lazy have I become in the blogosphere.

I also didn’t expect that Yahoo! would actually come to loving me, or my site that is. If you will look into my footer, I had a huge number of views in the article about the June 2008 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam result that my other blog, My Consoling Asylum, would die of shame because it posted the same and got very few traffic. I also noticed that I got a decent amount of views of my Charlie Green post, and looking into my Live Traffic Feed courtesy of Feedjit, most of my visitors are from Yahoo! Search, with this Yahoo!-famous posts of mine showing up on the very first pages of the SERP. Wow! I owe a lot to Yahoo! now.

But Google, on the other hand, does not love my site as much as Yahoo! does. True, from PageRank of zero this site now has a PR of 1. Thanks a lot Google for this meager gift! 1 is better than nothing. But damn to you (LOL) for spanking my My Consoling Asylum back to zero again. That is a very nice present for its one year anniversary this September. I could not blame, Google though. In fact I must thank it all the more for leading visits to my site for that weird helping hand bra. I got a lot of traffic from Google image search for that.

So Google PageRank is here once again? Here are the PageRanks of my sites, my friends sites, and some sites I use to linger on.

The ones boxed in red are my sites, but only the top two are the sites I update now. It is still funny how my Blogger-Aid, which last post was still way back January, maintained its PR 2 and the MyOnlineAsylum I availed thru HyperWebEnable has PR of 1 (from 2) without even a single post in it. Funny how Google does PageRank.

To my blogger friends who’ve been promoted by Big G, congratulations. And for those who’ve been spanked by Lordy G, come on, let’s drink to it! I’ve got both of the best worlds: promoted and downgraded…
