Tagum City Internet sex scandal? What?

My humble hometown, Tagum City, is abuzz with the controversy of the circulating Internet cafe scandal. I have been hearing of this scandal few weeks ago but I did not bother to care as I am just not a fan of any Pinay sex scandal, as most of these scandals are poorly made and only degrade the image of Filipinas. But if it were any Pinoy gay scandal, I could have bothered my eyes on it.

Anyways, the scandal has massively alarmed the local authorities as it has reached into the national scene, and what a bad way can it just counteract the good image Tagum City has in the nationals.

The teenage girl on the scandal was a student of University of Mindanao – Tagum College at the time she made the video, with her uniform and tie on to prove it. She did the scandal on webcam while chatting on Windows Live Messenger with a foreigner who prodded him to do the sexual romp with a little (I am not sure if it feels really LITTLE inside though) help from a bottle of a cologne. Is the girl trying to compete with the Cebu’s Black Suede Scandal? This we cannot tell.

The name of the girl has been out, but I would not like to spill it here, in case it might add more depression on her and her family. She had dropped out from school, and so had her siblings. There are even rumors that she had committed suicide. Bless her soul.

I have the chance to watch the video today through the Internet and I was only up to about 5% of video as, again, I am not a fan of any Pinay scandal. Tagum City sex video scandal under probe

TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte, Sept. 5 (a)

The Tagum City Council will investigate the reported “Tagum sex video” which is accordingly showing a young female student from one of the schools in the city baring herself in cyber sex.

This even as a member of the council has called for the closure of the internet cafe involved.

City Councilor Maria Lina Baura said the 20-minuter “sex video” which accordingly happened in one of the internet cafes in the city has now being passed around.

For his part, Association of Barangay Council (ABC) President Alfredo Pagdilao, who had already seen the clip, hinted that it appeared that the clip was spliced to show the face of the slim girl having a different and larger body.

Pagdilao said that based on his own probe, the girl in the video had already moved out from the city.

Vice Mayor Allan Rellon, co-chair in the city’s Internet Café Accreditation Board (ICAB), said the board will be convened also to probe the sex video.

He said the councilors must pass an ordinance meting out penalty against makers of pornographic videos.

The sex video happened as Mayor Rey Uy issued last year Executive Order No. 42 creating the ICAB. The board members included internet café operators, academe, and some city departments and pertinent Sangguniang Panglungsod committees.

Councilor Rey Salve said the city council investigation should be confidential to protect the identity of the girl in the sex video.

Pagdilao said the internet café in sex video scandal must be closed. (PNA)
