The Oath Taking Ceremony for Region XI and XII’s new nurses took place last March 26, 2008 at the Cap Auditorium in Davao City. And as one of the new registered nurses, of course I needed to be there.
I didn’t know whether it was our oath taking or theirs, the speakers and the visitors. What I mean is that a large percentage of the time we spent in the ceremony was all about the dignitaries’ speeches of all sorts: inspiring, forgettable, and some boring. It’s as if all in the audience would listen to their every word. For me, time is always precious, and they wasted it that time. I lost golds that I could have gotten (time is gold, right?).
Anyway, even though most of the time that we sat there participating in the ceremony was really boring, it was lucky to have Mckhoii by my side, who never failed to induce a good laugh with his jokes by his hilarious criticisms and sarcastic compliments of the persons there, mostly the “big” people in the auditorium. Even our “neighbor” sitters, although they don’t know us, had their share of laugh from our jokes and laughters.
In the end, we were finally full-pledged nurses. The oath taking proper lasted for only around 15 minutes or a little more with us saying the pledge of Philippine Nurses Association, the Nightingale Pledge, and the Nurse’s Prayer.
Anyway, here are the pictures we took during the ceremony. Have fun ogling at them. Just click-click on the pics to enlarge.

Zang, you should consider a better theme. this one is not good for SEO and can’t work with a lot of valuable Wordpress plugins like Commentluv. I should know cause I used this for a month.
If you have time to spare and a bit of imagination, I know you can handle Option Theme. Pangita lang ug lain cause this theme really sucks (oops) big time!

yup, you’re right, di ko nga makita ang commentluv although i already installed it. ive been switching from themes to themes to find something that is good, but perhaps this week i will do the reconstruction. i love options but mejo madami gagawin especially sa featured. di kasi ako gaano marunong sa adobe eh.. hehe… basta i will try and find another theme nlang… salamat sa tip, kuya! ganina ra ko sigeg pangitag theme ipuli pero wa pa koy nakit-an.
