At last! After the long wait here comes my Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) professional license as a nurse. I have really been waiting for this since I don’t know when.
I filed my registration last March 27, 2008 at PRC Davao. We were given claim stub saying to come and get our license after 3-5 months of the registration date. So I went back last September, computing correctly that it was even more than 5 months already. To my dismay, my license hasn’t arrived there yet from Manila.
On the first week of October, my friend Robert sent me a message on the phone that surnames A-D have already their license waiting in the office. So by the 6th of October I went to PRC. And yes, I got my license! There wasn’t also the hassle of falling in a long line. In fact, I guess it didn’t take me one minute to get it: I just presented the claim stub, and voila! The license was then already at my hands. After I got it, I immediately brought a jacket, a blue one, for it’s protection.
I hurriedly texted my friends afterwards saying that I finally got my license, and that in my license I don’t look really like a professional, but like a movie star. Hahaha.
The registered nurse that I am, hmm, I am now licensed to kill. Oops, I mean heal…
