Legal weed smoking in “Pineapple Express” and its 2008 MTV Music Awards controversy

When I say “legal”, it is legal, and when you read “weed smoking”, it is not at all Mary Jane. What is this smoking about? It is about International Oddities’s non-tobacco smoking products that are considered legal. This type of smoking is now gaining attention as some of today’s famous celebrities use such and has found its way into so many Hollywood movies. These non-tobacco smoking products are even repeatedly blazed up throughout the movie “Pineapple Express”.

There is a controversy going on regarding International Oddities smoking products. At 2008 MTV Music Awards, the “fake weed” (as star Seth Rogan called it) used onstage is somehow associated to having the same content as those used scene after scene in the above-mentioned movie. But this is only half-true.

The truth is that the smoking material in a baggie held up at MTV awards was provided by MTV itself, was a poor fabrication and not smokeable at all. The stuff smoked onstage in the cigarette, however, was actually a product of International Oddities taken from the actual material used in the movie.

Do not be alarmed or overreact, like Robert Downey Jr., Will Smith, Rhiana, Chris Brown, Anne Hathaway, at the thought of these weed smoke. The International Oddities smoking line is so unique and innovative, that even the company itself forgets the initial shock the public express when they first learn of their legal bud smokes. These are not marijuanas or other prohibited materials. Thus, it is called “legal”.
