Lance Feliciano is the only Filipino-American licensed professional Drifting racing champ among 38 licensed U.S. professionals from America. Lance got his professional license last October when he was 19 years old, by which time he was the youngest racer in the world of Drifting to earn professional status and the only Fil-Am challenger out of the 38 professionals.
Drift & RWD sports magazine even named him as “one of the next superstars to watch in 2007” and is becoming an icon in the Drifting domain.
Lance participated in the 1st Philippine Race Wars held at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga last April 26, 2008. He also went to demonstrate and teach his drifting styles and techniques to Filipinos who are eager to learn.
Originally from Antipolo City, Lance’s family moved to US when he was only two years old.
“When I was younger I really liked watching Japanese Option videos, the popular drifting videos from Japan. And my dad used to teach me in the mountains of Antipolo, in the Philippines. In 2005, I started joining amateur events. And in October last year, I entered the Pro-Am, the amateur events in which if you want to turn Pro, you have to win that event.”
Lance’ girlfriend, Jeri Lee, is also a Pinay and a Queen Racer.
