I want to go vegetarian all the way

I usually would prefer meat over vegetable. Since when I was young my parents would kind of hate me for hating to eat vegetables, although by now I am quite sure they are happier that I have started to put some love on eating vegies. I think this is normal when you grow up, and especially also that I am now more conscious of my physique that I desperately want to gain some weight, which led me to take some meds like Ling Zhi Chuan Yao Wan.

But something today made me realized that I need to go vegetarian all the way. My mother asked me to assist her in purposively killing a hen, which my father brought home from his friend, for dinner. After she had soaked the living hen in a pan of hot water, she called on me and asked me to hold the neck of the hen while she cuts through it to finally give the hen a “rest in peace”. I shuddered violently as she did the cutting, or ripping, the neck as the knife she used was kind of jagged, which made the killing of the hen more unbearable to see.

One person was right in saying “if slaughterhouses had glass for a wall, then all would be vegetarian”. I can’t exactly remember who said that, but I saw that one day in my site at the footer where the quotations change in random everyday, that part in my blog’s footer right under the “About” section.

So you want to be a vegetarian or what? Now take a look at this pic and you might change your mind and convert into becoming a full-time vegetarian. I just hope PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) won’t charge my mom with animal cruelty with this pic. And pardon me in advance if this does not approve your taste and makes you nauseous.
