I know, I know. It’s always “Hello world” when you have newly set up your website or blog in Wordpress, and I think I’m not going to delete this precursor post but have it edited and let it stay instead, so to have a “remembrance” of the first ever post that Wordpress automatically provides.
I could not be happier now that I finally have my own site. For those who do not know, I started blogging since early September of last year in my My Consoling Asylum blog. It is rather free-hosted and have only been a subdomain of Blogger, thus the “blogspot” extension. But it is also sad that in a way or another, I could not be focused more on my old site. I know I owe a lot to My Consoling Asylum, especially because that had it not been for it, I wouldn’t have earned what I paid to host this new website of mine.
Although it was in February that I started searching online for a possible web host, it was only around seven days back that I finally had registered my own domain, this domain www.zangcaesar.com for a surprisingly cheap price of $1.99 in an equally surprising, LARGELY reliable company: Yahoo!, particularly in Yahoo! Small Business. You read it right, $1.99: when you buy your domain there you have to pay that amount only, provided you’re a new customer and that it’s your first time to buy a domain there.
After some apparent errors while having my site initially hosted for FREE at 000WebHost, and for a very delayed customer service response, I decided I needed to move on to a new web host. And I am satisfied with the one I am in now. WebHostingBuzz is affordable and very good. After 15 minutes of registering and paying for their web host plan, I got my site all ready to roll. Plus they have a very good customer support too. After 30 minutes or shorter of submitting tickets to them, I immediately got a response. That’s really impressive.
And now that my site is ready to roll, I, too, am ready to roll. So let’s keep rolling…
Hello Philippines! Hello world! (Sounds familiar?) I am again up to no good. Ha ha ha. And yes, it was very wise of me to have been searching online for a month or so for what possibly could be a very affordable yet reliable web host. I think, that’s why I deserve this. well, congratulations to you and goodluck with your new web host.
there are a lot of webhost that offers free registration and domain as long as you host them with them, i know a lot of them. my first domain registration was also free even though i did not host it with register.com . lots of freebies around the net nowadays, just need to ask some peeps around.
