I really want to give my family a new home, but that won’t be possible until I get me a job that would pay much better than what I do now, a private duty nurse. Yes, I will be back to being a private duty nurse by Wednesday.

A popular housing company has reached our city, and one day I had the chance to ask about the particulars of buying or owning a house in there. The deal sounds good, only that I really have to get me a nice, high-paying job so I can meet the financial requirements or payments per month. If I can’t do it by merely relying on my job’s salary, then I guess I have to opt in for mortgage loans.

But first thing, what are mortgages? As Wikipedia defines it, a mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan. While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower.

I know buying a house is exciting, but it also entails a lot of decisions. If you are going to get a loan the question is what type of loan and which lender to get it from.
